Fall Wine Classes!
Blind Tasting, Burgundy, and Champagne :)
Hello friends, it’s been too long. First I was distracted by the hurricane hitting South Carolina (very grateful it was not worse), and then I thankfully got a nice break from that stress and the neverending heat of summer while visiting family in Northern Michigan, but I am back and with good news – my fall wine class schedule! Join me as I host a fall series of wine classes – a Greatest Hits version – at Wine & Company (a bottle shop and wine bar), 441 Meeting Street in downtown Charleston, South Carolina.
There will be three classes: Blind Tasting (a deep dive), Intro to Burgundy, and Intro to Champagne. The region specific classes will offer insight into history, geography, geology, and culture. With each class you will taste four outstanding wines, enjoy a small snack, and receive a well developed information packet (with maps).
They will be offered from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. one Saturday per month this fall (see schedule on the cute flier above).
The cost is $50 per class, but hospitality industry employees receive a 50% discount. The discount is limited to those actively working in restaurants, bars, hotels, wine sales, etc.
