Grape to Table Wine Classes – The Perfect Gift!
Join me, Sarah O’Kelley, a Certified Sommelier, as I host a series of wine classes at Wine & Company (wine bar and shop) this coming winter/early spring. This will be a tour of major old world wine regions. The classes are perfect for those who are contemplating taking an entry-level wine certification or for anyone just looking to enhance their wine aptitude or plan a trip. With each class you will taste four outstanding wines, enjoy a simple snack, and receive a well developed information packet (with maps)! Classes are 11:00am to 12:30pm on listed Saturdays. Cost is $50 per class. Let me mention again that there is a 50% discount for those who are actively working in the food and beverage industry. P.P.S. If you don’t live here in Charleston…is there any interest in an online class series via zoom? I did this during the pandemic, and while I have some angst from that whole experience I am curious if there are still folks willing to attend virtual classes. Obviously, the fee would be much less,and I would simply suggest a bottle (or 2) for you to buy on your own and enjoy during the class. I certainly prefer the energy of in-person events, but I am willing to consider one online series if there is major interest so please leave your thoughts in the comments section.
